Boat Adventures

I get motion sick on escalators, so our family fishing trips are often without me, but I have gone a few times when the weather was perfect. We usually go out of Whittier or Seward.

Glacier Magic

We live within driving distance of Matanuska Glacier and it is one of our favorite places to take visitors.

Hiking, Camping and Subsistence

We usually combine our camping and hiking trips with food gathering, but we also make sure to enjoy ourselves.

Alaska Farm Life

Along with subsistence, I love to garden. If I can keep the moose and the chickens at bay!
